Vision and Partnership 2022
Knowing what we’re about and how we can join in is at the heart of what it means to be a church
With all the disruption of a pandemic, and also with a fresh start as a new team, it seems like an ideal time to come together and take stock.
Each year our aim is to take a few Sundays to pause and reflect on that in our Vision and Partnership Sundays. These Sundays are important for lots of reasons, but we hope they’ll help us in two keyways:
- To remember who we are in Christ, and what our priorities should be as his people.
- To refocus what we are doing as individuals and as a church family.

What if I’m new?
If you’re new or coming back after some time away, we pray this might be a wonderful opportunity to feel at home and able to use your gifts, experiences and faith to feel very much part of things. It will also give you to chance to ask any questions you might have!
What if I’ve been here a while?
Jesus’ words to his disciples in John 13 give us this incredible vision for what His church should be like. A place where forgiven sinners show off the light of Christ they’ve received in the way that shines out so brightly to the world.
One of the unique privileges of being a Christian is that we’re never left on our own, but we’re saved into a community – a family – of other believers. Our Father deliberately places us alongside other brothers and sisters to walk with us through the joys and struggles of life – people we can encourage and be encouraged by. Being part of this family brings the reminder that others care, but also the responsibility of showing we’re committed to them.
As we work through each section, each of us will be invited to consider how we can partner together again.
As we begin this new chapter together, we hope that it might help all of us to keep going and growing as God’s people, and if you’ve got any questions or would like to know more, please just shout!
