We gathered this morning, with a sense of communal grief in our hearts at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
For many, these days are days of mourning and sadness as we remember not just a nation who have lost our Queen, but also those in the Royal Family who have lost a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
It’s also a time for us to be praying for one another, especially those who have lost loved ones recently for whom it will be especially poignant.
As part of our service today, we took some time to reflect and pray, to listen to God’s word, and to lift our voice in songs of praise.
